Musikal Geenyous

Tonight's the McKinney prom, which I'm unfortunately not old enough to go to. However, I am going to an afterparty anyways, so that'll be fun.

I don't get to try out for cymbals until next Thursday. Everyone else already knows where they're gonna be next year... arg!!!

This was a really short entry but I don't really feel like writing... I'll add more later...

Drum camp starts tomorrow, which is a bittersweet event. Its really fun because obviously I'm obsessed with drumline stuff, but then again its really stressful because we have to audition at the end of the week. There are two different auditions- one for what instrument we'll play during marching season, and one for what band we'll be in next year (concert, symphonic, or wind ensemble). Grrr to them for being so evil. I'm hoping to play cymbals and be in symphonic band, but I'll probably end up in pit and concert band. Auditions scare me!
